Visa Information for Visitors
This information
is intended to guide and support you in immigration
formalities, however, it is not within
the possibilities of the Central Coordinating EMF2009
the processing and approval of your visa.
For
Visitors from Countries who do NOT Require a Visa
Visitors who are citizens of the
following countries do not need to apply for a visa
to enter Mexico:

Andorra
Argentina
Australia
Austria

Chipre
Corea del Sur
Costa Rica
Dinamarca

All you need is:
• A valid passport expiring at least 6 months
after the date that you enter Mexico
• To complete the standard
"Migration Form for Tourists, Transmigrants,
Visiting Businesspersons, or Visiting Consultants",
(FMTTV) which will be given to you on the airplane
or at the airport
• The completed form and
your passport need to be given to the immigration
authorities at the airport.
For Visitors from Countries
who require a Visa
If you are from a country
which does require a visa to enter Mexico please follow
the steps below:
1. Register
You will need to register
for the VI World Meeting
of Families before you can be included
in the special visa application process for conference
delegates.
2. Passport Details
Please complete your details
on the Passport Details page. Please download
the form, fill in the information, data with yellow
background are required. Once you fill the form, send
it as attached file to the following e-mail account
info@emf2009.com.
We will send this information to the Mexican Authorities
to expedite your visa application.
3. Visa Application
Your details will be shared with
the Mexican Immigration authorities who will check
your details and pre-issue your visa.
To
ensure the Mexican authorities have adequate time
to
process your request apply as soon as possible.
Days after you have entered your
passport details you will need to go to your closest
Mexican consulate/embassy (list
is available here) and present your passport.
Transit
Visas
Please remember to check the requirements
of the countries where you are transiting through
on your journey to Mexico.
Transit
through the United States of America
For visitors who need to travel
through the United States, current information on
requirements can be found on the consular sections
at individual
U.S. embassy and consulate homepages.
A US visa is required to transit through the US from
most countries.
